Hanoi Rocks Announces Final World Tour: Dates and Cities Revealed…
Legendary Finnish glam punk band Hanoi Rocks has just dropped a bombshell announcement: they’re hitting the road one last time for a final world tour. Known for their electrifying stage presence, rebellious spirit, and influential blend of punk, glam, and hard rock, Hanoi Rocks is giving fans one more chance to experience their iconic sound live — and this time, it’s truly farewell.
The band, which first formed in 1979 and helped lay the groundwork for the glam metal explosion of the 1980s, redefined rock with their sleazy swagger and vibrant aesthetic. Despite multiple breakups and reformations, the core spirit of Hanoi Rocks has never faded. Now, after decades of defying the odds and influencing countless artists, they’ve decided it’s time to bow out with style.
Frontman Michael Monroe shared in a press conference, “This tour is for the fans who stuck with us through the years. We’ve had an incredible ride, and we’re going to make sure this last chapter is as explosive and unforgettable as our first.” Guitarist Andy McCoy added, “We’re going out loud, proud, and without compromise — just like we came in.”
The final world tour, titled “Bangkok Shakedown: The Farewell Tour”, kicks off in Helsinki, Finland on August 3rd, 2025, a fitting homage to their roots. From there, Hanoi Rocks will hit major cities across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, promising a greatest-hits spectacle drenched in nostalgia, adrenaline, and rock n’ roll attitude.
Here’s the official list of cities and dates:
- Helsinki, Finland – Aug 3
- Stockholm, Sweden – Aug 6
- Berlin, Germany – Aug 9
- London, UK – Aug 13
- Paris, France – Aug 16
- New York City, USA – Aug 23

The tour will conclude in Bangkok — the city immortalized in their classic album “Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes, Hanoi Rocks”. It’s a poetic choice for their final bow, symbolizing both their wild early days and global reach.
Fans can expect a high-energy setlist filled with fan favorites like “Tragedy,” “Don’t You Ever Leave Me,” “Up Around the Bend,” and “Boulevard of Broken Dreams.” The band has hinted at bringing special guests on stage, possibly including members of bands they’ve inspired over the decades — from Guns N’ Roses to Mötley Crüe.
Tickets go on sale April 22, and pre-sale access will be available for newsletter subscribers and long-time fan club members. Given the band’s cult status and the emotional weight of a final tour, tickets are expected to sell out fast.
While the end of Hanoi Rocks as a touring act marks the close of a unique chapter in rock history, the band is also preparing to release a special Farewell Tour Edition box set. It will feature remastered classics, rare demos, and a documentary chronicling the band’s wild legacy, slated for release in July.
This final tour isn’t just about saying goodbye — it’s a celebration of Hanoi Rocks’ legacy and their lasting impact on generations of rockers. Whether you’ve followed them since the ‘80s or discovered them through Spotify rabbit holes, this is a moment to witness history.
So, dig out your leather jackets and eyeliner. Hanoi Rocks is back for one last riot — and it’s going to be glorious.
