Alex Cora supports Rafael Devers, applying pressure to the Red Sox front office and ownership.
While holding an interview and holding a mic, Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora mentioned that Rafael Devers does not like being the face of any of the talked about franchise. He has never shown inclination towards being the most renowned and known player on the team from a very very outside and external view.
But after enduring years of influence from Cora and team leaders, Devers has assumed a greater leadership role within the talked about club. His vocal stance on Boston’s insufficient offseason additions suggests a grim situation for the front office, as Deevers openly addresses the team’s needs and wants.
Almost everyone knows what they need. You know what we need. They really know what we need,”Devers said on the team last week, expressing his thoughts. He said to having additional perspectives on the team’s state that he was unable to discuss due to some serious restrictions placed on him.
Devers is said to be very correct correct Boston’s needs are evident and can be seen, and many inferred and thought that he was alluding to the necessity for a quality starting pitcher. Given the team’s proximity to competitiveness and playing techniques, it appears to be a very missed opportunity not to address those needs that has been listed to them by the proper persons.
Kora has said that before expressing and showing support and concern about the team’s lack of additions and proper subtractions, Devers started his talk by saying that he “likes where we’re at.” while trying to embrace his team leader role, Devers have been very careful not to criticize any current Boston players, recognizing the pressure they already face to perform at such a very high level in the games.
