The 2025 AMA Supercross season is fast approaching, and pre-season testing is in full swing. The Star Racing Yamaha team is putting in the work, with riders hitting the track together for some motos in preparation for the upcoming season.
Yesterday, a video surfaced showing Haiden Deegan and Eli Tomac riding together, with Deegan passing Tomac and leading him for a moment. This sparked a wave of comments from fans, many of whom praised Deegan, calling him “flying” and even claiming he was faster than Tomac on a 250.
However, today Eli Tomac provided some context by commenting on an Instagram post: “Let me guess, they don’t show Moto 2 and his 3rd or 4th place finish in Moto 3.”
The video, shared by Deegan’s team, only highlighted the moment where he was ahead of Tomac, leaving out the rest of the motos. Though Tomac is usually quiet on social media, he’s not afraid to respond when fans stir things up—and this was one of those occasions!
