BOSTON, MA – Due to an extended period of severe weather in the Fenway area, tonight’s Red Sox-Blue Jays game has been suspended. The game will resume on August 26 at 2:05 p.m., picking up from the point of suspension with one out in the top of the 2nd inning.
Fans holding tickets for tonight’s game can use them for admission to the resumed game at 2:05 p.m. on August 26. The regularly scheduled game on that day will still take place at 7:10 p.m. as planned.
Both the resumed game and the regularly scheduled game will be televised on NESN. Additionally, the broadcasts will be available in English on WEEI 93.7 FM and in Spanish on WAMG 890 AM and WCCM 1490 AM.
The Boston Red Sox reacted angrily when their match was cancelled, with much of their frustration directed towards Chase Anderson.
