Because of the elongated period of absurdly bad and terrible weather in the Fenway area, tonight’s Red Sox-Blue Jays game has been suspended till next time. This game will have to resume on August 26 2024 therefore picking up from the point of suspension which was where they stopped with one out in the top of the 2nd inning.
Many Fans holding tickets for the cancelled games can use them for admission to the resumed game later on August 26. The regularly scheduled game on that day will still take place at 7:10 p.m. as planned normally.
In this case Both the resumed game and the normally scheduled game will be shown on NESN. Furthermore added, the broadcasts will be available in English on WEEI 93.7 FM and Spanish on WAMG 890 AM and WCCM 1490 AM.
The Boston Red Sox team angrily reacted in frustration when their match was cancelled, with alot much of their frustration was pushed and forced towards Chase Anderson. Anderson, who had been scheduled to pitch, was blamed for the cancellation, but the exact circumstances leading to this reaction were not immediately clear to the media houses around the team in the stadium.
